Beachfront on Bruny is a self-contained private beachside cottage on Bruny Island, southern Tasmania.
The perfect setting for two, the living room is comfortable and cosy with a wood burning stove (wood supplied), a television, CD player and a good range of books and board games. Adjoining the living room is a fully-equipped kitchen.
The property has everything for a relaxing, invigorating break all year round. It contains all you could need during your stay; just bring your favourite food and drinks.
Outside, you can enjoy the gardens and barbecue area where native birds abound. The cottage has its own verandah with spectacular views across the bay to the mountains beyond - the perfect place to enjoy a glass of Tasmanian wine and some local gourmet foods whilst savouring the sunset.
For the energetic, the cottage is only minutes away from activities such as bushwalking, surfing, fishing, viewing fairy penguins, exploring local history, seeing the lighthouse or experiencing the award-winning eco-cruise to see the cliffs, islands and seal colony off the southern coast.
Bruny Island can be reached by the Ferry Terminal at Kettering, a 30 minute (32 kilometre/20 mile) drive south of Hobart.
