The Cockpit offers romantic, self-contained accommodation for couples on Tasmania’s Bruny Island. Bruny Island lies off the south coast of Tasmania and is accessed by a 15-minute car ferry from the town of Kettering, a 40-minute drive south of Hobart (34 kilometres).

Located at Morella Private Retreats, the Cockpit is a sensuous hideaway for two. Indulge yourselves in the pillow-clad queen size bed, with complimentary champagne and chocolates. Your luxurious bathroom has floor heating, a gold-plated shower for two and glass wall looking out onto an absolutely private rainforest grotto. Here you can soak in the outdoor bath under fairy lights, beside your own waterfall. Inside, your living area features polished parquetry floors and an expansive glass wall framing views of the surrounding ocean and coast. Relax in front of the wood heater on your cushion-strewn Persian rug or in the double hammock filled with rugs and cushions.

The Cockpit also has a fully-equipped kitchen and a full breakfast is provided. There is an outdoor barbecue area and access to a spa, garden and the surrounding flower farm. Dressing gowns, slippers and more are all supplied.
