Essential Information

How to get here

Bruny is an island off an island off an island. So, it’s okay if you don’t know where to start! Let’s make it super simple by following these steps: Get yourself to Australia, then island hop by sea or air to Tasmania and then on to Bruny Island. Bruny Island is just under an hour's drive south of Hobart easily accessed by car or tour company. While it is close to Tasmania's capital city, Bruny feels like a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

If you don’t want to roll off the ferry and wonder which way to turn, we have you covered. There is a stack to see and do. Some like to wing it. Others, like to follow a path of someone in the know.

Moving Around

There are only a few ways to get around once you arrive on Bruny. Arrive via your own/hire car or on a tour from Hobart.
