On your way to Adventure Bay, be sure to call into Bruny Island Chocolate Co who sells handmade fudge made on the property. Adventure Bay a little further down the road is a great place for a beach stroll and coastal photo opportunities. Bruny Island Raspberry farm is the perfect spot for morning tea, serving up homemade preserves and treats made from ingredients grown on the farm.
Continue South to Bruny Island Premium Wines for wine tastings and lunch overlooking the family owned and operated vineyard. Further South you’ll arrive at the iconic Cape Bruny Lighthouse. Take a Lighthouse tour for the ultimate in magnificent scenery. Check in to your accommodation, RV location or campground. Enjoy a waterfront dinner at Hotel Bruny.
Embark on the world class high speed yellow boats at Bruny Island Cruises including lunch at Bruny Island Seafood Restaurant overlooking Adventure Bay. Enjoy dinner of local produce, sunset and then a Penguin Viewing at The Neck (September – February).
Head to Iconic Cloudy Bay Beach and witness magnificent endemic birdlife, a wild coastline and the surfers out at Middle Bay. Pack a morning tea to enjoy. Pack a picnic of local produce in a backpack and choose one of the great bushwalks on offer such as Fluted Cape (or Penguin Island for a quicker option). Labillardierre Peninsula Walk is another great walk (or its short loop for a quicker option). Enjoy a picnic along the way. Take a leisurely drive back to Hobart with some farmgate and cellar door stops.
